Last night on the BET Awards, Chris Brown — you know, that guy who beat up Rihanna and fancies himself “the next Michael Jackson” — performed a tribute to the late King of Pop. Brown was so “overwhelmed” by “emotion” — i.e. he saw an opportunity to draw attention to himself in a desperate attempt to appear compassionate and sensitive — that he broke down into tears and had to be comforted backstage by Jackson’s brother Jermaine. As Annika would say, SMH. Shaking. My. Head.
