Danielle Staub performed her first single, “So Close,” on Cohen’s show after “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” last night, alongside “lesbian super star” Lori Michaels on the keys. The amazing thing about releasing a song after fellow housewives Kim Zolciak and LuAnn de Lesseps is that Danielle, in comparison, actually sounds, I dunno, kind of good. By good, I mean I don’t have the urge to stuff cotton into my ears and I appreciate that Danielle is going for a ballad instead of some heinous clubby techno number. Sue me. I don’t hate it. As for the name, “Real Close,” well, it sounds like it should be dedicated to Dina Manzo. Stalker! [DListed]
