Perez Hilton has taken to his blog to defend his choice to post a photo of Miley Cyrus’ crotch on his Twitter feed, which has many people chanting that he is peddling child pornography. His argument on why it’s not: because Miley was wearing undies in the photo.
“Do you think Miley is that stupid to be out in public without panties? I may nickname her Slutty Cyrus, but she’s not a moron. Do you think I’m stupid enough to post a photo of Miley if she’s not wearing any underwear down there? Sure I like to be controversial, but I don’t want to go to jail. The reason I linked to that photo is because I thought she was exiting this car in a very un-ladylike fashion. People, snap out of it!”
Here’s the thing. It’s pretty clear that this is not the reason Perez initially posted the pic. Remember how in the initial post, he wrote, “If you are easily offended, do NOT click here.” And by easily offended, he meant that you hate “unladylikeness?” I think not. If that’s what he meant, he would have referenced that in the caption.
And again—does it matter if there is or isn’t underwear, or that someone is 17 versus 18 years old? Crotch shots just aren’t cool.
Sub-point, do we have to listen to his obnoxious voice anymore?
