Danielle Staub Is The Latest “Real Housewife” To Record A Single

OK, just because you are a “Real Housewife” and your face is plastered all over TV doesn’t mean you have to start making music. It was cute when NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” recorded “Tardy for the Party.” Then just absurd when LuAnn de Lesseps made “Money Can’t Buy You Class.” But now one of the ladies from “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is taking her turn in the recording studio. Danielle Staub is making her first foray into pop music by recording a duet with openly gay singer Lori Michaels called “Real Close.” It’s a song about a woman with commitment issues and all that gushy stuff. There will be five, yes, fivvvvvve versions of this song and they’ll be coming out in about eight weeks. The main version will be “very sexy, very raw,” according to Staub. Like an open sore? There will also be a dance mix for them to play in the clubs that I will, most certainly, be avoiding. Not surprisingly, Staub isn’t much of a singer. She said she used to do vocals for some R&B band when she was a “young teen,” but hasn’t done anything like that in years and years. Which, of course, makes her the ideal candidate for the next reality TV music bombshell bomb. [People]
