Weekend Wear: Daytime Date Look

Trolling street wear sites like Chictopia is one of my favorite online activities — after online shopping. Like others who are fans of these sites, I get inspiration for my own outfits. User FashionisaPlayground calls this look the “Fair weather sailor,” but I think it’s more suited for a daytime date on land. Although the shorts show off gorgeous gams, the look isn’t tarty because everything else — cleavage, arms, shoulders — is covered. So your date will get a hint of sex appeal but still pay attention to what you’re saying. Plus, the mixing of patterns — stripes and snakeskin — make the neutral palette exciting. Find out how you can get this look after the jump, and if thigh-grazing shorts aren’t your thing, a pair of Bermuda shorts would look just as cute. [Chictopia]
