Not content to wait for a closet full of insane headware to be delivered, Lady Gaga wants to DIY a few. A rep for Philip Treacy, who has designed hats for everyone from Alexander McQueen to Valentino and Dior, told British Vogue that “the [internship] request came through quite a while ago.” Apparently Treacy and The Gaga “get on well and she has applied for an internship although nothing has been confirmed yet,” continued the rep. When we were fashion interns, there were coffee runs, errands in heels, and, at least in my case, an incident involving Serena Williams and quite a lot of spandex.
