U.K. E-Tailer ASOS Launching In The U.S.

Come September, Asos.com, the U.K.’s largest multi-brand online retailer, will make a virtual leap across the pond to the U.S. This shopping site is already one of our favorites because it not only sells affordable trendy pieces, but also has an extremely large selection from brands like Gap, Levi’s, and Diesel. However, unlike other trendy sites like Topshop and Forever 21, ASOS also sells designer items from the likes of McQ by Alexander McQueen, Miu Miu, and D&G, to name a few. It’s pretty difficult not to find something to love amongst the 37,000 style options. The U.S. site will have prices in dollars and different vocabulary, i.e., a vest will no longer mean a tank top, I’m guessing. Items purchased from the U.S. site will still ship from the U.K., but an Atlanta, GA, logistics facility will handle returns from American customers. September can’t come fast enough. [WWD]
