I love how people take pride in their towns, tirelessly fighting the haters and doing what it takes to make them better places. Even though Beyonce is from Houston and lives in Manhattan, I can understand why she would get a “Brooklyn” tattoo — it’s a pretty fantastic borough. And it’s hard not to warm up to the place when her hubby, Jay-Z, grew up there and loved it so much that he bought an entire sports team (The Nets) just to replant it in Brooklyn.
