Is it just us, or has the past year been like The Invasion of the Superkids? Today we have another pint-sized talent to add to the list: Cecilia Cassini, a 10-year-old fashion designer. Getting her start at age 6 on a Singer sewing machine, Cecilia learned the craft by logging obsessive hours with a needle and thread and experimenting with different fabrics and designs. About to host her first trunk show at the Fred Segal store in Los Angeles (any designer’s dream), Cecilia’s creations are for kids with imagination—think sparkly dresses, lots of bows, bright colors, and sassy patterns.
