Author Kitty Kelley has dug up some interesting dirt on the Bush family, Frank Sinatra, and Nancy Reagan, but her most recent tell-all, Oprah: A Biography, apparently doesn’t tell much about the media queen. Kelley conducted more than 850 interviews for her unauthorized biography that hit bookshelves today, and what she learned is that Oprah is extremely driven. Um, I think most people already knew that. Those hoping to get the juicy gossip regarding Oprah and her fiance of more than 17 years, Stedman Graham, have to wait for another biography. In addition, the book doesn’t answer rumors that Oprah is in a gay relationship with best gal pal Gayle King. If anything, Kelley told Reuters that Oprah could be ” ‘asexual’ because she has put all of her sexual energies into her work, into her career, into building her empire and the financial rewards that she has gotten have been enough, really, to sustain her.” But even with out any gossip, I’m sure Oprah: A Biography is an inspiring tale for someone looking to escape their harsh upbringing.
