Trend alert: denim button-ups are on the up-and-up. We’re seeing this ’90s style come back through all of our favorite retailers. While we scratched our heads and said, Huh? at first, we’re now kind of digging the look, which strays from the preppy Ralph Lauren aesthetic of yesterday and now seems vintage and model-perfect. Our pick: this chambray western shirt from the Gap which, with its strategic wear-and-fade details, looks like it just might have come out from the back of your closet. We’re crushing on the western-style piping and buttons, but think this shirt would be best worn without the cowboy boots (avoid the cliché), and instead with some heels and a high bun.
