Remote Control: What You’ll Want To Watch The Week Of March 29th 2010
Spring has sprung (kinda) but just because it’s nice out doesn’t mean you’ll be able to pry me from my couch. There is way too much going on with my real friends … the ones in the TV. This week, we have the season finales of “Kell on Earth” and “Greek,” the season premieres of “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” and “In Plain Sight,” and another good week for my new favorite show, “Modern Family.”
The Show: “Kell on Earth”
Set Your DVR For: Monday, 10 p.m. (EST), BRAVO
If you’ve gotta cry, leave the room, because it’s sadly the season one finale of “Kell on Earth” tonight. People’s Revolution employees Skinner (the workaholic) and Andrew (whose sexuality goes in cycles and is currently in gay mode) continue to flirt while they plan Kelly Cutrone’s birthday surprise party. Kelly doesn’t really come across as being a fan of surprises but if those two can cut through that sexual tension to make something beautiful happen, and Kelly doesn’t fire them “just because,” it will be an interesting show anyways.
The Show: “Greek”
Set Your DVR For: Monday, 10 p.m. (EST), ABC Family
In the season finale of my favorite show about youngsters, CRU students go to Myrtle Beach for spring break. The seniors freak out because they finally have to join the rest of us who don’t know what we’re doing with our lives and Cappie and Casey either get pinned or break up. Either way, the writing is fantastic and I need no excuse to enjoy Scott Michael Foster in a swimsuit.
The Show: “Law & Order: Criminal Intent”
Set Your DVR For: Tuesday, 9 p.m. (EST), USA
The two-part season premiere of “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” starts this week with Jeff Goldblum taking over for Vincent D’Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe. Die-hard fans are probably pissed off, but if you’ve ever watched “Earth Girls Are Easy,” you know that Goldblum can do no wrong.
The Show: “Modern Family”
Set Your DVR For: Wednesday, 9 p.m. (EST), ABC
There’s nothing particularly special happening on this week’s “Modern Family,” but I feel it’s important to announce that this is one of the funniest shows on television right now and if you’re not watching it yet, you must start immediately because it’s totally genius.
The Show: “In Plain Sight”
Set Your DVR For: Wednesday, 10 p.m. (EST), USA
The season premiere starts off the series where it left off last season, at a scary cliffhanger. U.S. Marshal Mary Shannon and her partner Marshall Man (seriously?) try to find the person who almost killed her. Flirting, tough girl barbs, and bad-assery ensue. I kind of love this show.
