There is irony. And then there is Nadya Suleman putting up a PETA sign in her front yard warning passerbys to “Always Spay or Neuter” their pets. Yes, Nadya has signed on to be the new face of new PETA campaign with the tagline, “Don’t let your dog or cat become an OctoMom.” So how did this come to be? Nadya has been in serious financial trouble lately and is in danger of losing her home after her father defaulted on a $450K loan. Vivid Entertainment offered to pay for the house in full if Nadya would agree to star in an adult film for them. At the same time, PETA offered her another option—this campaign. “It would help you and your children to keep your home and also reduce the number of homeless dogs and cats,” read the pitch letter. Nadya decided to take their offer. Her lawyer explains, “No porn. Just PETA. Nadya prefers animals over men.”
