I really wish I could say I kept things tight over the long, cold winter, but this past weekend when the sun came out, I was forced to encounter some pretty unfortunate beauty situations. My feet seemed perfectly beautiful when I only spied them in between changing from boots to fluffy house slippers, and I simply had no idea how ashy the skin on my vitamin D-deprived legs had become. I was super self-conscious about the state of things and felt compelled to wear jeans and closed-toe shoes on a sunny stroll, while girls in sundresses and flip-flops were meandering happily by.
