Remote Control: What You’ll Want To Watch The Week Of March 15th 2010
It’s been raining for four days straight here in New York, and I am officially sick of staying in and watching television. And yet, there are so many exciting boob tube happenings this week that I’m looking forward to. From the premiere of Jessica Simpson’s “The Price of Beauty” and “Kirstie Alley’s Big Life” to fresh episodes of “Lost” and “Secret Diary of a Call Girl,” here are the shows to watch this week.
The Show: “The Price of Beauty”
Set Your DVR For: Monday, 10 p.m. (EST), VH1
Tonight’s the first episode of Jessica Simpson’s “The Price of Beauty” where she travels across the globe looking at ideas of beauty in different cultures. I can’t believe there will be no “Is it tuna or is it chicken” stupidity on display. But she seems so low energy here. What’s up?
The Show: “Secret Diary of a Call Girl”
Set Your DVR For: Monday, 10 p.m. (EST), Showtime
It’s the end of season three, so tonight is a double header. Not only do Bambi and Byron get married, but Belle decides to hire a male escort to see what it’s like to be the customer.
The Show: “Lost”
Set Your DVR For: Tuesday, 9 p.m. (EST), ABC
Did I mention that I love “Lost”? Oh, I did. Sorry about that. But this week it’s a Sawyer episode. Do not miss.
The Show: “Kirstie Alley’s Big Life”
Set Your DVR For: Sunday, 10 p.m. (EST), A&E
We wish Kirstie Alley would stop making her weight her thing. But darn it, I still like the woman. She has pet chinchillas! And she’s funny! And her son, True, looks adorable!
The Show: “Jerseylicious”
Set Your DVR For: Sunday, 10 p.m. (EST), Style
First came “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” Then “Jersey Shore.” So you best believe that we’ll be watching “Jerseylicious,” Style’s new show which takes you inside an NJ salon for big hair and nails galore.
