Beauty Test Drive: Sephora Lip Stain

We’ve been into lip stains lately. They’re easier to wear than lipstick, less sticky than gloss, and keep us from looking zombie-pale, even on the ickiest of days. There is, however, a problem plaguing most stains: excessive wateriness. This too-liquid quality that most stains have going means purse-leak paranoia, difficulty of application and the sort of dripping that could drive a girl crazy. Luckily, we’ve found the antidote.Conveniently, Sephora has a stain that’s gel-based, comes in a nice red-ish color and is applied with a seriously easy-to-use sponge wand. It doesn’t last quite as long as we’d like, but it’s still a better option than most of the goopy and/or watery varieties we’ve tried in the past.
