Crush Of The Day: Tobias Truvillion

Tobias Truvillion is one of “Brooklyn’s Finest” in every way you can take the phrase. He not only reportedly holds his own against veteran actors Don Cheadle, Richard Gere, Ethan Hawke, and Wesley Snipes in the film, which opens tomorrow, but also provides a bit of eye candy in the gritty crime drama. It’s too bad he didn’t pop up on our radar until now, though. We might have become soap opera fans if we’d known Tobias was a regular on “One Life to Live” from 2006 to 2008. His soap role, resident-bad-guy-cum-business-man Vincent Jones, is nothing like “Brooklyn’s Finest”‘s Gutta, an undercover cop who’s trying to set up one of BK’s top drug dealers. If this film doesn’t sound like your ideal Friday night movie, then Tobias can be seen in “The Tested” next and in the Broadway play “Black Angels Over Tuskegee.” [Essence.com, IMDB, BV Buzz]
