In what may very well be the saddest display of refusing to let the past go that we’ve ever seen, Brooke Shields posed for this ridiculous French Vogue “Lady Cops” editorial. Based on a made-up TV show, costarring Elaine Irwin and shot by Bruce Weber, the spread is an attempt at campiness that definitely falls flat. We feel awkward just looking at it. Both are hot older women, but there’s something to be said for aging gracefully. In that respect, this shoot is a total fail for Shields and Irwin. Unless you consider zebra bikinis and denim hot pants graceful, that is. At least it’s hilarious! More images after the jump. [Refinery29]
