As a closet nerd, I’ve secretly wanted to at least know someone who does LARPing, otherwise known as “live action role playing.” So, I was pretty excited when I saw Live “Avatar” Role-Playing featuring the Na’vi people of Hometree, Wisconsin, frolicking in the forest with the tree of souls and tsahaylu-ing (making a sacred bond) with plants and stuff. They also say really awesome things like, “F**k you, sky bitch!” and “I didn’t believe in God before ‘Avatar.’” It’s so spot-on, it almost makes me want to go blue and run around Los Angeles making a mockumentary of my own. Too bad I’m all tsahaylu’ed to my computer, or I’d totally get right on that.
