As NYC’s snowy winter wonderland turns into hellish puddles of slush, Fashion Week goers have a rough decision to make. Give in to the terrors of not-so-stylish wellies and boots or suck it up and wear heels. This morning, as the first brave fashion souls found their way to the tents in Bryant Park, footwear choices were wide and varied. We spotted Anne Slowey of Elle in Keds comfort, while I chose low-heeled OTK black boots and Erin went for Hunter rain boots. Still, a few crazies were wearing towering stilettos. We’re hoping those girls arrived in boots and changed — at least for the sake of their soles. But c’mon, at what point do you just have to give in to the weather and say screw it?
