When asked how he and First Lady Michelle Obama handle educating Malia and Sasha, President Barack Obama responded: “Malia will tell you, my attitude was, if she came home with a B, that’s not good enough because there’s no reason why she can’t get an ‘A’…” Obviously, they take grades very seriously, but as a former honor student, who sucked at chemistry, I can tell you that sometimes the effort is more important than the grade.
