Remote Control: What You’ll Want To Watch The Week Of February 1st 2010
Forget the Super Bowl. There’s something even bigger happening on television this week—the season premiere of “Lost.” I repeat, “LOST” IS BACK! We’ve been waiting eight whole months to find out if Juliet is alive, if Ben really killed Jacob, and if detonating that nuclear bomb did anything to negate flight 815 crashing on the island in the first place. Check out the preview after the jump, as well as a few other shows you’ll want to catch this week.
The Show: “Kell On Earth”
Set Your DVR For: Monday, 10 p.m. (EST), Bravo
Kelly Cutrone, who prides herself on making employees cry, has made “The City” bearable for the past two seasons. So we think her show—about both her work and home life—will be great, if only for her crazy one-liners.
The Show: “Lost”
Set Your DVR For: Tuesday, 8 p.m. (EST), ABC
You couldn’t pay me to do anything on Tuesday night except park it in front of the TV and watch the premiere of season six of “Lost.” Will our 90 million remaining questions be answered this season? Let’s hope so.
The Show: “Shear Genius”
Set Your DVR For: Wednesday, 10 p.m. (EST), Bravo
The hairstylists’ version of “Project Runway” has never quite (hair) gelled. We’re hoping a new host and judge—Jonathan Antin—will help.
|The Sarah Silverman Program|
|Season 3 Trailer|
The Show: “The Sarah Silverman Program”
Set Your DVR For: Thursday, 10:30 p.m. (EST), Comedy Central
Sometimes Sarah Silverman gets on our nerves. But we’re willing to check out the premiere of the third season of “The Sarah Silverman Program.”
The Show: “Puppy Bowl VI”
Set Your DVR For: Sunday, 3 p.m. (EST), Animal Planet
I’m a sports girl, and will totally be watching the Super Bowl. But it’s come to my attention that not everyone is into it. So watch the “Puppy Bowl” on Animal Planet instead. There’s a half-time kitten show and bunny cheerleaders.
