Say It Ain’t So: Noah Cyrus Designs Children’s Lingerie Collection?
Celebuzz is reporting that 9-year-old Noah Cyrus is launching a children’s “lingerie” collection called Ooh! La, La! Couture. We wouldn’t hold it past the girl who did a so-wrong rendition of “Smack That” to make such a move, but it seemed slightly unlikely to us. So, here’s what we gather—the designs aren’t so much lingerie as they are slutty dress-up clothes, and in fact appear falsely credited to Noah. The range of leopard tutus is actually inspired by Noah’s BFF, Disney star Emily Grace. (Seems Noah is along for the ride to help promotion.) According to Ooh! La, La! Couture’s website, the Emily Grace Collection includes “versatile styles that can be worn with sweet ballerina slippers, funky sneakers or paired with lace stockings and boots for more of a rock and roll look. Emily’s collection will appeal not just to little girls—the line also has an exclusive Teen Collection available to a size 14.” Here’s a video of Noah and Emily modeling some of the wares—some frilly leopard skirts paired with fingerless gloves and fishnet tights—that just makes us say, “Why? Why do little girls have to dress like whores? Enjoy your youth, young grasshoppers! Enjoy your innocence while it lasts!” Be sure to watch closely at :33 … we’re not exactly sure why Emily randomly growls and slaps her thigh. A nod to Noah’s “Smack That” fame? [Celebuzz]
