Most of us can only dream of getting our greedy little hands on a real couture gown — the exquisite tailoring, such rich fabric, those intricate details! — but we can recreate the actual nails used in most runway shows. (Hey, we’ll take what we can get.) For Lebanese designer Elie Saab’s show in Paris this week, Creative Nail Design busted a move that we’ve done plenty of times with eyeshadow and lipstick, but forgot to try with nails: They layered CND Colour polish in Creamy Cameo and Effect in Lavender Pearl (find ‘em here), for an extra “opalescent, luxe” look that perfectly complemented Saab’s outrageously gorgeous, opulent gowns. Hey, we think this combo would look great with jeans and a T-shirt, too.
