DIY Brooch Hair Clip

Last weekend’s hair clip roundup got us in the mood to come up with a few of our own, both as a means of saving money and an excuse to pull out our glue guns, which we’re admittedly strangely attached to. While cool clips that don’t look cheap can be pretty expensive, turning a vintage brooch or pendant that’s already lying around your house into a barrette is almost free. So grab a glue gun, wire cutters or pliers, an old brooch and either a blank barrette or heavy duty bobby pin, set aside ten minutes and get the job done.
