Every winter, TV networks bring in what have come to be known as “midseason replacements.” These are the shows they decided not to air in the fall, the beginning of the television year, but are now giving a chance to replace the shows that, uh, didn’t work out so well. Interestingly, many of my favorite shows of all time launched midseason, for example “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Dawson’s Creek,” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” What will be the big hit of this year’s crop? After the jump, the seven shows I’ll be adding to my DVR rotation.
