I don’t know about you guys, but the wedding invitations for summer and even next fall are already pouring in, meaning I have a lot of girlfriends who are busy planning weddings right now. The most familiar refrain? It’s really, really hard to find a dress! Not knowing much about the bridal scene, I assumed it wouldn’t be that hard–I mean, there are a million options out there, right? Ah, but there’s the rub. Plus, conventional wedding gown offerings are kind of dismally bridal-looking in the cheesiest of ways. And while J.Crew makes divine dresses, it’s understandable that for a few ladies I know, they want something a little more unique. With that in mind, I tried to put together a few options for the bride who wants to go fairly traditional, but not too cupcake-y. Some are more inspirational than others (for those who want to create their own), and plenty are totally accessible. Good luck out there, ladies. Sounds like a jungle.
