Most of the pink-colored alcohol we’ve come across is, well, disgusting, and we thought Rosangel tequila was yet another girl-targeted brand among spirits like the vodkas Pinky and P.I.N.K. until we visited its website and saw some of the drinks you can mix up with the rose-hued liquor. Julie Reiner of Clover Club, a Brooklyn, NY, bar with delicious cocktails (I can attest), concocted a few high-brow drinks with the hibiscus-infused tequila. We may not appreciate most “female-friendly” products, but there are certainly exceptions. Plus, the bottle is so darn pretty. Ruby Fizz 2 ounces Rosangel 1/2 ounce agave nectar 1/2 ounce ruby port 1 barspoon pomegranate molasses 3/4 ounce lemon juice 1/2 egg white Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a highball glass with one large ice cube.
