An article in today’s Daily Mail reports that, gasp, sometimes married couples have slumps in their sex lives. Citing “the largest British survey of sexual practices, 35 percent of men and 53 percent of women” in committed, monogamous relationships of at least one year had experienced “sexual problems” lasting a month or longer. These problems include lack of interest in sex, and premature orgasm or anxiety about performance for men, “while women complained of painful intercourse or an inability to experience orgasm.” As one might imagine, these problems often lead to a lack of sex, but don’t worry!
