All About Morgan Christie, Jon Gosselin’s New Girlfriend
While Kate Gosselin got a new hairdo for 2010, Jon Gosselin got a new girlfriend. He is now dating Morgan Christie, 25, a chickadee he met while on a Thanksgiving snowboarding trip in Utah. So who is this girl?
- Morgan grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut, and went to Emory University. She now lives in Santa Barbara, California. “She grew up very privileged, tons of money,” says a college friend. According to her Facebook page, which appears to have recently been taken down, she is a fan of Chelsea Handler, “Glee,” and cares big-time about breast cancer awareness. [People, Facebook]
- If you follow the J-Goss drama, you may remember that Jon was supposed to spend Thanksgiving with Hailey Glassman‘s family, but changed his plans and said he was headed to his grandma’s instead. Hailey tweeted, “LOL-U are in Utah snowboarding w/’friends’-lol-ur redic.” Turns out that on said trip, he met Morgan, whose relatives live at the resort where he stayed. “They’ve been inseparable. They talk on the phone and text throughout the day,” says a source. “Morgan flew to New York right after Christmas to be with him.” [Us Weekly, TransWorld News]
- A few days after Christmas, Jon returned to his apartment to find that it had been burglarized and that someone had sliced and diced his stuff using a butcher knife. It’s unclear whether Hailey was the perp—the word “cheater” was carved into the bedpost and a note with her signature was found in the kitchen. Morgan was apparently with Jon when he discovered the mess and the two hopped in a car and drove to Pennsylvania, where they stayed at a hotel near the Gosselin homestead. “Later, they went back to New York so Jon could figure out the apartment situation,” says a source. “Morgan helped keep him calm, and he was extremely thankful to have her there.”[The Hollywood Gossip, Starcasm]
- A friend of the couple says, “Jon is so into Morgan that he is thinking about moving to Utah to be closer to her.” Guess we’ll have to see on that one? [Us Weekly]
