Playboy Model Paula Sladweski Found Burned In Dumpster
This is a very, very sad story. On Sunday, firefighters in Miami were called to put out a fire in a dumpster. When the flames were extinguished, they realized that what had been set on fire was a human body. Using dental records, they identified the body only yesterday as that of Paula Sladewski, a former Playboy model who’d been reported missing on Monday. The big question is, of course, how she got there. Paula and her boyfriend, Kevin Klym, came to Miami to spend New Year’s watching Lady Gaga perform. The couple went out the next night to a venue called Club Space and danced into the wee hours of the night. At 7 a.m. that morning, the two got into a fight and Klym was asked to leave the club. He did—he says Sladewski stayed. Klym claims that when she hadn’t returned to their hotel room by Monday morning, he called the police and reported her missing.
Sladewski’s family are urging the police to focus on Klym as the murderer. “They had a horrible relationship,” Sladewski’s stepfather said. “I have told them from the start that they shouldn’t be together.” Apparently, in a fight that got physical, Klym once broke Sladewski’s nose. And another relative offers that Sladewski once texted her, “He’s trying to kill me.”
