Lady Gaga Shakes Up Things At Polaroid

Polaroid has joined forces with Lady Gaga to revamp its brand, which is popular with hipsters but not most people in the digital age. The entities will develop a line of “imaging products.” We really have no idea what that means, and Gaga is remaining vague on the subject.

Here’s what she said in a press release:

“The Haus of Gaga has been developing prototypes in the vein of fashion/technology/photography innovation — blending the iconic history of Polaroid and instant film with the digital era — and we are excited to collaborate on these ventures with the Polaroid brand … Lifestyle, music, art, fashion: I am so excited to extend myself behind the scenes as a designer.”

Yeah, we’re still confused too. A press rep tried to clarify by explaining that Gaga would help to create “imaging products” that connect both the instant film category and the digital-imaging line.
