A Christmas Miracle: The “It’s Always Sunny” Gang To Open A Real Bar In Philadelphia

My parents thought it was bad parenting to teach children to believe in invisible men that break and enter homes through chimneys once a year in tacky red suits to give overpriced gadgets to unappreciative children, but I think the gentlemen in red is entirely responsible for this. Mac and Dee of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” are opening a real bar in the City of Brotherly Love. I live here! And I’m going to go to Mac and Dee’s bar!Husband and wife team Rob McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson are venturing in on the business deal that has got to be far more awesome and profitable than kitten mittens. It’s even more fantastic because McElhenney is a Philly guy, and he’s partnering with his high school buddies who still live in the area. So, when they swoop in to renovate one of my city’s most notoriously great dive bars, it isn’t going to turn into a glittery celebrity wank-fest. It’s really going to be a place where my gang can hang out a little bit closer to the TV gang and triumphantly croon the story of the Day Man. Thank you, Santa! [The Illadelph]
