We still have to get through the rest of the holidays, so don’t even get us started on all the makeover madness that we can promise you we’ll be obsessed with come January. But if you’re going out on the town or throwing a party for New Year’s Eve, we know you can’t resist getting all gussied up, and chances are you’re already thinking about it. We’ve suggested a whole bunch of cute dresses (under $100!), plenty of dancing shoes, and even cocktail shakers to keep in mind, but check this Elle.com video out for a hair and makeup look (inspired by Derek Lam’s spring 2010 runway but redone on their intrepid reporter for the realway), we think would look good on 99 percent of the population come party time.
