Frisky Reader Revealed: Who Is This Riley?

Hands down, the best thing about working at The Frisky is our amazing readers. We so heart all of your witty, thoughtful, and informative comments—heck, we even appreciate the mean ones. Sometimes, we can’t help but wonder about the faces behind avatars. After seeing some of your lovely costumes on Halloween, we decided to launch a weekly column where we learn all about a Frisky reader. After the jump, meet Riley, one of our most prolific commenters. The Frisky: Riley please state your name, and location for The Friskyverse.

Aaron Riley. It’s an original handle, yes. I’m 24 and live in Louisville, Kentucky.

F: What do you do all day, other than read and comment on Frisky posts, which is totally condoned?

AR: I work in the marketing department at a local firm. I mainly work on our sponsored events and seminars from start to finish. When there is downtime I work with our proposals.

F: Relationship status?

AR: I’m single.

F: What is your fave post in recent Frisky history?

AR: Well, John DeVore’s posts are always a fun read; but I suppose my favorite would be the post about boys’ clubs.

F: Can you share your most embarrassing dating story? We always share ours. It’s only fair.

AR: Now I wish I didn’t give my full name. A recent date I went on was pretty embarrassing. We met for drinks with a mutual friend and stuck around the bar a little too long. After getting back to my place—completely unexpected on my end—certain things weren’t cooperating with me. Not to say she didn’t have a good night and my jaw was tired, but I was completely embarrassed anyway.

F: If you were any superhero, which superhero would you be?

AR: Hmm. Maybe Silver Surfer?

F: Boxers, briefs, or boxer-briefs?

AR: Boxer-briefs or boxers if I’m being lazy.

F: What is your secret talent?

AR: I’m a pretty good cook and an extremely talented procrastinator.

F: If you could be anywhere right now, where would you be?

AR: I really wanted to go to Morocco until your recent article about celebs heading there. I suppose I’ll have to go somewhere on Spain’s Mediterranean coast.

F: What’s something you hope to see on The Frisky in 2010?

AR: I liked some of the men’s style articles. I’d love to see some more of those. For the five guys that frequent the site.
