The 38-year-old, who was the mother of twins, spent three days in critical condition after having surgery last Thursday before succumbing to a pulmonary embolism on Sunday. The liquid injected into her buttocks had entered her lungs and brains, killing her, according to one source. A close friend of Magnano’s, Roberto Piazza, observed: “A woman who had everything lost her life to have a slightly firmer behind.” According to the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Jennifer Lopez’s derriere is the posterior most requested by patients looking to surgically recreate a bigger, better bottom.
