New gossip suggests Tiger Woods and his wife, Elin Nordegren, were squabbling right before his strange car accident early Friday morning. Woods apparently stormed out of his Florida mansion after 2 a.m, shouting at his wife, “You’ve ruined our Thanksgiving! Are you happy now?” according to RadarOnline.com.
As neither Woods nor Nordegren are speaking to the press, we’re taking any and all new insights with a major grain of salt. But this latest accusation of Thanksgiving-ruination would fit with the prevailing conspiracy theory that Nordegren didn’t use one of Tiger’s clubs to rescue him from a car crash in front of their apartment, like she told police.Nay, here at Frisky HQ, we’re speculating the couple had a nasty spat about Rachel Uchitel, who The National Enquirer reported last week is the “other woman” in Woods’ relationship. Gossip-mongers are alleging Nordegren may have scratched up her husband’s face in the fight and then, when he hopped in his car to drive off, she came after the vehicle with a golf club.
What actually caused Tiger’s smashed SUV windows and left the pro-golfer lying semi-conscious on the ground until an ambulance arrived, we don’t know. But let’s be clear about one thing, though: Wasn’t it really The National Enquirer that ruined Thanksgiving for you, Tiger? [New York Post]
