By now we’re sure you’ve heard the hubbub about a fashion spread shot at the Berlin Holocaust Memorial for EasyJet’s in-flight magazine. Yeah, that was dumb. In fact, there’s not really anyone standing up to say it wasn’t, including EasyJet, which has apologized for the messed-up judgment. Though this may be the most historically insensitive editorial concept we’ve ever seen, we can think of a few other recent fashion spread controversies in the running for top 10 sensational shoots of 2009.
