Remote Control: What You’ll Want To Watch The Week Of November 16th 2009

It’s a big, big week for season finales, folks. First, see the toodle-oo to cycle 13 of “America’s Next Top Model,” i.e., the shorty season. Next, find out who’s in and who’s out with the conclusion of “Project Runway.” And finally, get ready for the culmination of the “Seinfeld” reunion on “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” But don’t be sad. You know what they say … every new beginning comes from another beginning’s end.

The Show: “Gossip Girl
Set Your DVR For: Tonight, 9 p.m. (EST), the CW
OK, so this season of “Gossip Girl” hasn’t shaped up as well as I’d hoped and I’m completely sick of Hilary Duff on the show. But there’s a pretty big reason to watch tonight, anyway: Lady Gaga.

The Show: “America’s Next Top Model”
Set Your DVR For: Wednesday, 8 p.m. (EST), the CW
Here’s some news to make you smeyes: this week brings the season finale of “America’s Next Top Model.” Generally, on “ANTM,” I totally root for the awkward girl. But this time, I’m throwing my support behind Laura, the uber-sweet Southern farm girl who castrated bulls before living out her model dreams.

The Show: “Project Runway”
Set Your DVR For: Thursday, 10 p.m. (EST), Lifetime
People! It’s finale time! Will Carol Hannah push through being super sick for the showing at Bryant Park? Will Althea continue to totally rip off Irina? And will Irina stop being so mean?

The Show: “Saturday Night Live”
Set Your DVR For: Saturday, 11:30 p.m. (EST), NBC
OK, so January Jones wasn’t nearly as good a host as we thought she’d be. But I can almost assure you that Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be amazing. No clip is available, obviously, which is why I decided to post this cute NY Times interview with him.

The Show: “Curb Your Enthusiasm”
Set Your DVR For: Sunday, 9 p.m. (EST), HBO
This season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” has been very meta, with Larry signing on, in the show, to do a “Seinfeld” reunion. Well, this week’s season finale will finally bring the reunion to fruition. Also, here’s hoping that Larry gets Cheryl back. The show just isn’t right without them together.
