Sesame Street’s Reign Of Cuteness Continues

The best address in America has always played host to the cutest and brightest puppets, and now like a grand socialite giving her 40th birthday celebration, the show has created a simply amazing guest list for the upcoming season. Set your DVRs, volunteer to babysit, or call out sick and stay home to watch kids’ TV, because the new episodes, beginning Nov. 10, are going to be awesome …. Who knows what will happen when indie sibling royalty Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal enter a scene? Jake’s set to appear in a new segment, called “Shalom Sesame,” which teaches children about Jewish-American history and culture. How can you not look forward to Hanukkah with Jake and Adam Sandler? Could it be time for a new Hanukkah song? First Lady Michelle Obama is coming back (sweet!), as well as Cameron Diaz, Eva Longoria, Christina Applegate, and Paul Rudd. And that isn’t even all: British funnyman Ricky Gervais will visit “123” — I’m really hoping for a grumpiness face-off with Oscar and Slimey. Finally, one of my favorite crushes, Hugh Jackman will be joining the lineup. Since Jackman’s a fuzzy man himself (as Wolverine), there should be no limit to the cute, furry, lack of the blues.
