Michael Jackson did his best to shield his three children, Prince, Paris, and Blanket, from prying eyes and the media, even when dangling an infant Blanket over a balcony railing. When he was alive they often wore scarves or masks in public. So, I wonder how he would feel about his children appearing in an upcoming A&E reality show, the latest Jackson family sideshow act. The Jackson fam is divided on the issue, according to Us Weekly. Rebbie, the eldest sister, has refused to appear in the series and “feels Michael would spin in his grave if he knew his kids would be on this show.” Surprisingly, Janet is on board, but she still has a career to salvage. Mom Katherine is just going with the flow, says a source. But we all know that’s been her MO since the Gary, IN days. Still, one creator of the program, which is tentatively called “The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty,” says the family will be shown in a positive light on the series. “We have 23 cast members with the last name Jackson,” executive producer Jodi Gomes told Us Weekly. “They’ve done a great job opening up about losing a brother.” I hate to say this, but the death of Michael seems to have been the best thing to happen to the careers of those 23 people named Jackson.
The series is expected to air in December. Will you watch it?
