After seeing the versions done by football players on “Glee,” Justin Timberlake on “SNL,” and indie rockers Pomplamoose, what else could possibly be done to add new intrigue to this poor, copycatted tune? Well, someone very dear to my theatre-loving heart is rumored to be having a go at the ditty. In perhaps the best “Sex and the City 2″ spoiler news ever, Us Weekly reports that Ms. Liza Minnelli herself will be performing the song in a wedding scene during the film.
