This is me, in the glasses I bought at Costco three years ago. I normally wear contacts, at least out and about, but at home I rock the glasses. Recently, someone saw me in them and said, “1997 called and wants its glasses back,” which, while harsh, got me thinking that it might be time to update my spectacles, perhaps with a pair cool and distinctive enough that I would wear them in public more often.
