Women Rule, According To Diesel

At the Diesel Jeans store in Paris, a new window display shows a female doll holding a very multicultural group of shirtless male dolls on leashes like slaves. Behind her, a slogan reads, “Women make the world go round.” This suggestion aims to put women on top, but does it? It sure is funny and eye-catching, but potentially has a negative and offensive subtext. Diesel’s advertorial agenda seems to read more like “Women’s money makes the world go round.”
