I’ve never understood the appeal of roughing it. Communing with nature can be fun for some, but I prefer a concrete jungle any day. Modern amenities like hot showers and flushing toilets are necessities to me, not luxuries. But pretty soon I might be singing a different tune because, apparently, “glamping” is on the rise.
