Amber Valletta Rocks Low End Clothes In High Fashion Shoot

This is what we are talking about: high fashion looks we can actually afford on a low budget. For their September 2009 issue, V Magazine featured super model turned actress Amber Valletta in a nine page spread titled, “Amber’s Next Act.” The Arizona born beauty is starring in the upcoming sci-fi flick, Gamer with Gerard Butler. Maybe to contrast with what will likely be a very techy film, the stylist Clare Richardson, gave Valletta a very simple, striped down (literally), and bare look. With the exception of a black poufy Dolce & Gabbana, just about every other outfit in the shoot was from Levi’s, H&M, Gap and Armani Exchange.

Our favorite pieces are the Armani Exchange white t-shirt in the opener. It’s called the Clean V-Neck Tee and retails online for only $25.

Check out the customized vest from Levi’s, worn over a sequined skirt in the second page. We spotted a similar one at Levi’s online store for $49.50. It has the similar rinse and the same vintage feel. For few more bucks you can go to an arts and crafts store to customize it yourself.

The plaid Gap shirt Amber wears under a leather jacket also caught our eye. You can get your hands on a gray version at Gap online for $49.50.

Our all time favorite pieces from this shoot though are the stretchy waist band denims Valletta wears with the dramatic black blazer. They are not available online so we suggest you rush to H&M stores now to get your hands on a pair! They retail for $39.50!
