Before his untimely passing, pop icon Michael Jackson was in talks with Christian Audigier, the man behind Ed Hardy clothing, to debut his own collection. THe conversations began when Michael tapped Audigier to design his costumes for his final tour, “This Is It.” Audigier revealed on the Today show earlier this week that, while no contracts were signed, the duo discussed in detail what the collection would look like. Audigier and his team presented Jackson with sketches for t-shirts, jackets, gloves and other accessories. They even had items priced. For example, a jacket based on Michael’s iconic Thriller video would cost $500 (before his death, the jacket was set at $250). [The Cut]
