It seems Scarlett Johansson is the go-to Hollywood starlet for music videos these days. First, there was the video she made with Bob Dylan for his single, “When The Deal Goes Down,” in which she was featured in a “montage of sixties-style home movie clips.” Then, she starred in Justin Timberlake’s music video for his single, “What Goes Around Comes Around,” in which she’s a blond bombshell Timberlake spends the duration of the video seducing. Now, Scarlett joins Pete Yorn in a video for the single “Relator,” from their collaborative album, “Break Up.”In this newest video, ScarJo channels Brigitte Bardot, an idea Pete Yorn says came to him in a dream. “I was like, Scarlett Johansson could be the Brigitte Bardot type. So I reached out to her and she was into it, and we did it.” The New York Daily News reports that “Break Up” is “inspired by French singer/songwriter Serge Gainsbourg, who worked with Bardot on a series of duets for her 1968 album, Bonnie and Clyde.” [via Buzz Feed and NY Daily News]
