I was already sad that I missed the All Points West music festival in NY this weekend, now I’m devastated. So, the Beastie Boys were supposed to headline, but dropped out at the last minute upon learning Adam Yauch (aka MCA) was battling cancer. Jay-Z stepped in for them, becoming the first rapper to headline a rock music festival and THEN he paid tribute to the trio by covering “No Sleep Til Brooklyn.” Effing awesome.
