Bravo’s “Project Runway” spinoff, “The Fashion Show,” had a bit of a tough go, especially considering that the buzz about the new “Project Runway” on Lifetime largely eclipsed the attention of style watchers. Regardless, a deserving contestant, Anna McCraney, took the gold on last night’s finale with a smart but disparate collection of colorful dresses (signature look pictured), which you can now pre-order at ShopBravo.com. Throughout the show, Anna’s designs proved to be organic and conceptual, competing the most with the other high-level talent on the show, Daniella (who, it must be said, produced some extremely amazing pieces).
So, watchers … are you happy with Anna’s win? If not, who do you think deserved the title? After the jump, a look at Anna’s designs throughout the season. [Bravo]
Throughout “The Fashion Show,” Anna presented feminine pieces that played on small structural experimentation with pleats and layers.
These few looks from Anna’s winning collection in the finale don’t appear very cohesive but are marketable and pretty, as well as representative of Anna’s work as a whole. Think she deserved to win?
